Help & FAQ
Quick answers to the questions homeschool parents ask us most often. Can't find what you're looking for? We're a short email away.
Safety & parent control
Can my kid talk to strangers on this?+
No. There is no chat, DMs, or inbox of any kind. The only way anyone can reach your kid through LilBizee is by buying their product or sending a gift — and the buyer's note attached to either is auto-screened, then you (the parent) approve it before your kid ever sees it.
What can my kid actually do without my approval?+
They can write, design, and draft on their own — create product drafts, write blog posts, work through the lessons, customize their avatar and shop. But nothing goes live to the publicwithout your approval: every product listing, every blog post, every change after the first approval. You're always the last step.
Where does my kid's shop live? Is it public?+
Each kid gets a public storefront at their own subdomain (something like yourkid.lilbizee.com) once you approve their first product. Before that, the shop is hidden. You can also hide the whole shop again at any time from Site Settings → Privacy.
Who sees the buyer's name and address?+
You do. Your kid only sees the buyer's first name and the (approved) note — never the address or phone number. Fulfillment is your job; the platform is theirs.
I see "CAPTCHA failed to load" when I try to sign up. What do I do?+
That message comes from our sign-up provider when something in your browser blocks the bot-check widget — almost always an ad blocker or privacy extension. Three things to try, in order: (1) try a different browser, (2) disable browser extensions for this site, (3) use an incognito/private window. If none of that works, email us and we'll get you in manually.
Is this COPPA compliant?+
Yes. We don't collect personal information from kids without verified parental consent, and a parent can delete all of their child's data at any time. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Billing & refunds
How much does it cost?+
Two options: $99/year (renews yearly, cancel anytime) or $229 one-timefor lifetime access. Both include the full 6-week program, your kid's storefront, and everything else.
What's included in the free trial?+
The yearly plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You won't be charged anything until day 15, and you can cancel anytime during the trial with no cost. Lifetime is a one-time payment, so it doesn't have a trial — but it's covered by our money-back guarantee below.
Can I get a refund?+
Yes — 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. Email us at hello@lilbizee.com within 30days of purchase and we'll process it.
I'm on yearly — can I upgrade to lifetime later?+
Yes. Email us at hello@lilbizee.com and we'll credit what you've already paid toward the lifetime price. You only pay the difference.
What happens to my kid's shop if I cancel?+
If you cancel a yearly plan, your kid keeps access through the end of your billing period. After that, the shop is hidden but nothing is deleted — if you come back later, everything (products, posts, orders, lessons) is right where you left it.
How it works
What does a kid actually do on LilBizee?+
Three things, daily: walk through one 15-minute lesson, work on their shop (add a product, write a post, design their avatar), and once a week, complete a small parent conversation with you. By the end of week 6, they have a real online store with real products and (ideally) their first real sales.
What ages is this for?+
Officially 8–13. Some 7-year-olds with strong reading skills do fine; many 14-year-olds find it useful too. The 6-week curriculum is written at roughly a 4th–6th grade reading level, with parent guidance built in for younger kids.
How long does the program take?+
6 weeks at about 15 minutes per day, 5 days per week. Most families finish in 6–8 weeks. After that, your kid's shop stays live for as long as your plan is active — they keep selling, keep posting, keep growing.
What if my kid loses interest halfway through?+
That's normal, and the program is built for it. They can pause and pick up where they left off — nothing expires. The weekly parent conversations are also designed to re-engage a kid who's drifting, with prompts you can use over dinner.
More than one kid
Can I have more than one kid on one account?+
Yes — up to 10 kids per family plan, included in the same $99/year or $229 lifetime price. Each kid gets their own shop, their own avatar, their own curriculum progress.
What about a co-op, microschool, or classroom?+
We're building something for larger groups. If you're running 10+ kids, join the co-op waitlist — we'll tell you the moment it's ready.
Selling & shipping
Who handles shipping when my kid sells something?+
You do — every time. LilBizee's job is the storefront, payment, and curriculum. The parent handles fulfillment. For local-pickup products there's nothing to ship; for delivery products you decide whether to charge a flat shipping fee, let the buyer choose, or just arrange delivery by email.
Where does the money go?+
Straight to your bank, via Stripe — not your kid's. We never hold your money. Stripe takes its standard processing fee and LilBizee takes a small platform fee (3% on small sales under $25, 6% all-in on sales of $25 and up). Everything else lands in your account.
What payment methods can buyers use?+
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe Checkout. Buyers don't need a LilBizee account to buy — they just need a card.
